Spring is just around the corner. Time for fresh new beginnings and rebirth. So far 2016 has been about change some good, some not so good.

A little over a month ago my fur baby went off to puppy heaven. She was 17.5 years old and ill with liver disease.  I miss her like crazy. She was my snuggle buddy and my writing partner. At the end of 2015 we moved in with my amazing boyfriend. Her final days were with two people who loved her very much. I still expect her to push up against me while I am sitting on the couch.

I have had a hard time with her loss and it has had me re-evaluate life.  I have spent the last 10 years running/ producing shows and promoting other people’s talent.  I loved doing this, but have come to realize that it is time for me to dedicate time to my work and to promoting it. I have stopped producing shows, unless they are my own. I am also concentrating on my writing projects. Some are partially or almost done and I now have the time to finish them.

I have had a novel stuck in my head for a very long time. I am now almost 55,000 words in and still going strong. I can’t wait to see how it all wraps up.

Along with all the change, I will be refreshing the blog and at sometime relaunching as a website. In the last few years it has been about my shows. It will now be more focused on my writing, performance and movie shorts.

Spring really is the air. Time for a fresh new everything.
